■ Introduction ■
Welcome to BossQuote 1.0, the quoting program. BossQuote functions
quickly and efficiently, adds a small header to your messages, and
if you wish, a date and time stamp. Just include it in your batch
file from your Mail Reader (Preferably SLMR) and that's it.
■ What It Does ■
BossQuote takes your reply file, reads it and adds some bells and
whistles (see examples below). After that, it takes your saved reply
file and adds your name, date and time (see below for batch file).
■ How To Use It ■
First off, you should be using Silly Little Mail Reader, but your
Mail Reader might still work. Here are the steps.
■ Set your Mail Reader up so that it includes the message header
in the reply file
■ Set your Mail Reader to load up a batch file when it goes into
the editor. Here is what that batch file should look like:
┌─────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ CD\SLMR │─┐
│ BOSSQUT C:\SLMR\MR$WORK\REPLY.MSG │ │
│ CD\SLMR\MR$WORK │ │ Template.Bat
│ SLME %1 │ ├──────┘
│ CD\SLMR │ │
│ BOSSQUT C:\SLMR\MR$WORK\REPLY.MSG +Antony Hare │ │
│ CD\SLMR\MR$WORK │─┘
└─────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
The first BossQuote command line is to read the reply and
the second is to add your name,(given in command line)
date, and time.
